As an essential health care provider we continue to serve our patients to make sure you can hear. We, like you, look forward to the days where things are back to 'normal', but we also understand that we are currently in a 'new normal' and business as usual looks a little different than it did at the start of the year.
Social distancing doesn't have to mean social isolation because you can't hear, we're here for you and we want to update you on what you can expect at all of our Sonus corporately owned locations.
We will continue to have increased cleaning and sanitization of offices between patients.
Our offices will maintain social distancing practices to limit the number of people in waiting areas.
Masks will be necessary for all clinic visits.
Patients will be asked the following screening questions before their appointment:
Are you experiencing a cough, fever, or shortness of breath recently?
Have you or anyone you’re close to been exposed to the coronavirus that you know of?
Have you or anyone you’re close to been tested for the coronavirus?
Do you have a mask or other face covering such as a scarf or bandana that you will be wearing to your appointment?
If you answer YES to 1, 2, or 3 above, or you answered NO to question 4 and do not have a face covering or mask to wear to your appointment, we will work with you to reschedule the appointment to a later date or time.
We have also added an online battery store to let customers get the hearing aid batteries they need without having to go into a location. (Please click here to purchase!)
We will continue to monitor and follow the protocols and procedures issued by our local municipal, county, and State of California health care officials as well as the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Our top priority is always the safety of our patients, our Sonus team members, and the communities we serve.
We're in this together, we'll get through this together, and we're here for you.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.
